Pop superstar MADONNA
and boyfriend GUY RITCHIE are planning a christening party for baby
ROCCO - with friends saying the pair will wed at the same time. The
$1.5 million (£1 million) christening party is set to take place at
a Scottish castle in December (00). A Beverly Hills, California, jeweller
has already delivered $15,000 (£10,000) diamond and platinum wedding
bands. A friend quotes Madonna as saying, "I'm ready to marry Guy
and, since everyone will be gathered in Scotland, I may just marry

VINNIE JONES was responsible for the choice of location, following
the Hollywood couple's constant bickering over where to hold the event.
Madonna wanted to christen Rocco in California, while Guy wanted the
ceremony held in Britain. Madonna told her friend, "We fought like
cats and dogs. In the end, we both had to compromise." The pal adds,
"Vinnie told them to grow up and sort it - and the perfect venue was
a Scottish Highlands castle." It is not known if Vinnie has specified
a particular castle.

songbird MARIAH CAREY was one of the most unpleasant celebrities she
has ever met. Speaking on independent television's THE FRANK SKINNER
SHOW Kelly said that in her experience the bigger the entourage around
a celebrity, the more unpleasant they are. Carey was surrounded by
a posse of aides, one of whom had the unenviable job of waiting for
30-year-old Carey to finish chewing a piece of gum and then hold his
hand out for her to place the used gum in it.

- with the beauties even competing to make the most disgusting noises.
She says, "I love toilet humour - that's why I love the English sense
of humour. "We just humoured ourselves during the making of the movie,
being very sophomoric and immature and childish. "Me and Drew and
Lucy would go off on these tangents of stupidity- we'd just be entertaining
ourselves. We were always just making disgusting fart noises. We were
trying to find out who could make the foulest noises."

half-sister will seek custody of HEAVENLY HIRAANI TIGER LILY, the
dead star's daughter by the late PAULA YATES, she said yesterday (29OCT00).
Mother-of-two TINA HUTCHENCE, says she would "love" the opportunity
to raise the orphaned four-year-old and has instructed solicitors
in London. She and the former INXS frontman's mother, PATRICIA GLASSOP,
voiced concern over the possibility of Tiger Lily being brought up
by Paula's former husband, BOB GELDOF, who has been granted temporary
custody. Patricia says, "It's totally bizarre to think that Bob would
want his ex-wife's child by a man he loathed." Tina, who runs her
own internet company in Burbank, California, adds, "I have a great
deal of respect for Bob. But I wouldn't want Tiger to go to him. "How
are we supposed to keep communication going with her and bring her
up to know the essence of her father? "She needs constancy in her
life, someone to bond with." Tina plans to raise the child in California
